Michael Alan Young, d/b/a MIC’s Home & Building Services, has been involved in the residential construction industry since 1992. Throughout my construction career, I have been directly involved in nearly every phase of the construction process, from initial planning and design to the end product.

I am the oldest of five brothers, all of whom have been involved in the construction industry. Often working together, we have developed our skills and built a reputation on extraordinary workmanship, attention to detail, and fairness with their clients.

Our primary source of new business is by word-of-mouth referrals from our many satisfied customers and other professionals.

We began primarily as a custom home builder, designing many of the homes we built in Central Ohio. Due to the changes in the market, we decided to focus more on remodeling and smaller outdoor projects. Specializing in kitchens, baths, decks, and more. We also do tile, hard flooring, patios, and all sorts of special projects. I live in Englewood Florida and serve Sarasota and surrounding counties.

Prior to entering the construction industry, I worked as an aeronautical engineer. My engineering experience has been quite helpful in designing and building many custom homes, kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels and any project requiring special attention.
